The stationmaster's house is situated on the Moravian-Silesian Northern Railway in the direction away from Brno, it belonged to the Northern Railway of the Emperor Ferdinand opened in the years 1869 - 1870. This railroad guard's cottage exists in two versions, as a single cottage and sometimes as a double cottage. Where it was not possible to build a simple house because of the terrain, it was built on an artificial hill with access to the cellar from the open space. The cottage was also located on other routes. These cottages were used as stop buildings or as guard houses. The houses were located for example at the stations in Blatec, Nové Sady, Hlušovice and Štarnov.
